This was the lonely home of Eleodoro
Lazo (far right?), who had worked here as a shepherd since 1896.
His cabin occupied a clearing of the forest, protected from the
wind, on level, sunny ground. (Detail: Is that a carcass of lamb
hanging to the left of the entrance?)
